Cassia Essential Oil, Cinnamomum cassia

 

Cassia (Cinnamomum cassia), is also known as Chinese cinnamon with similar properties as cinnamon leaf.  Cassia is an  anointing oil used to increase circulation, reduce  diarrhea from toxins.  The aroma is subtle compared to cinnamon leaf or bark and preferred in aromatherapy blends and natural perfumes. The essential oil is steam distilled from the May Chang, yellow flowers. Add 2 drops in ½ cup of water or carrier oil.
